Some short excerpts I wanted to share from the Mezamashi TV feature on the Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto inferno Asian red carpet premiere here in Manila! Minako-san interviewed us during one the press conference, and included here is the part where she remarks that I resemble Takeru Satoh. While I find myself unworthy of the compliment, I’m happy that my effort to portray his version of Kenshin is appreciated! It seems that a lot of people want to see this moment. Hahah! :;(∩´﹏`メ∩);: ハズカシイ･･･ Also shown here is Henyo's amazing Shishio cosplay. It impressed a lot of Japanese netizens! I also threw in one of my favorite parts of the premiere: Takeru Satoh greeting the crowd in Tagalog! ^_^x No English subs for now but maybe one of my interpreter friends would like to take up subbing the whole ...

Not knowing very much about the Philippines before I visited, I was pleasantly surprised by Manila and Subic and how they both reminded me of America. A brief documentary about Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. Every year, more than 5.5 million tourists take their vacations in the Philippines, and often Manila is their very first stop. Nearly 16 million people live in the Metro Manila area, which is made up of many smaller cities, including Makati, Pasay, Pasig, Paranaque, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, and more. Manila is where big business takes place, where major investments are made, and where residential and commercial real estate is never-ending. Many tourists enjoy the malls, the restaurants, the museums, the nightlife, and even the beautiful Manila Bay. Probably, the biggest tourist attraction is the SM Mall of Asia - the 3rd largest mall in the world. For more details about Manila or the Philippines in general, visit ...

CONGRATULATIONS SAF TROOPERS WELCOME TO MANILA | FILIPINO TV
YESHUA IS COMING SOON.
Pride of Nationalism is very important for the Filipinos because we never had freedom from our overlords. Up to now, we are still slaves of our foreign masters. We must break from the invisible economic and sociological chains and learn how to stand on our own feet. The government must do something to stop the foreign powers for exploiting our people and natural resources. We all know that Filipino politicians are corrupt. Now, from where did we learn how to become corrupt? The Spaniards and Americans divided us. They did not want us to be united so they can easily control us, Filipinos were not naturally corrupt. Our colonizers taught us how to become corrupt! Corruption divides our society. Poverty is a broad topic, there is no single answer of why a certain country is poor. To und...
Human trafficking is very common in the Philippines. Many grassroots Filipinos sell or give away their kids. Many of them give away their child/children to ease hardships not only for them but also for the child/children. Unfortunately, there are evil ones who take advantage out of the sufferings of the poor and use the child/children to be sold to human traffickers. To fight poverty; first, you must understand the roots of it. History: Before the Spaniards invaded our motherland, we were living a prosperous and peaceful life. The people were honest and true to their fellow brothers and sisters. We only learned the words crab mentality and corruption when the Spaniards enslaved our people. The Spaniards came to our land with muskets in their right hands and bibles in their left hands...
-This video is not an Anti-Hispanic culture documentary and doesn't aim to abolished Hispanic/American culture in Philippines, I think it's important to remember that we need to appreciate every collective culture that history has throwned to the islands of the Philippines, for it would be a monument of the richness of the country, to remind every Filipinos that many great nations with different cultures of the world have fought for it's richness but in the end it was taken back by the Filipino people, and the Filipino people alone. that way they can feel a sense of uniqueness amongst the other Asian cultures! i don't want this video to be misunderstood plus it could make Spain and America get away with everything they did while colonizing The Philippines, if Filipinos don't resourcefully...
